Senior Analyst
Bianca Morandi is a qualified Renewable Energy Engineer with over 6 years of experience in data analysis within the renewable energy sector.
Prior to working with BrightWind, Bianca worked as site characterisation engineer for a French tidal turbine developer, Sabella. She was responsible for turbine environmental sensors integration and monitoring and for ADCP measurement campaigns. She also delivered energy resource and environmental load assessments in support of pre-construction projects in the French, Canadian and Asian markets. Prior to Sabella, Bianca worked for another Irish tidal turbine developer, Openhydro Technology. She was responsible for the real-time monitoring and analysis of sensor data from operational test turbines, for the French and Canadian markets.
Before joining OpenHydro, Bianca studied at La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, completing a masters in Renewable Energy Engineering. As part of her internships she worked as sensor technician at the experimental aerodynamics laboratory of the university and as research assistant at CNR-INSEAN Rome.
